What's something exciting your business offers? Say it here.
A story about trying to reach someone who's emotionally checked out. When pleading turns to realization, sometimes the only thing to do is let go.
My backyard fire pit is my sanctuary, my sanctum sanctorum, my fortress of solitude, my place of zen. I hope you find yours.
A fun song I wrote about life, perspective, and controlling what you can control.
A song about the painful end of a decades-long friendship and for anyone who's ever had to choose between holding on and letting go.
Friendships shouldn't be work, but they do take effort. And when that effort comes up short, you just have to hope they see it and do better, for your sake and theirs. If not, you just might have to let them go.
It's probably pretty safe to say that we've all dealt with addiction in one way or another. I wrote this with several stories in mind and heart.
A heavy song about the consequences of careless hurt.
What started as a frustrating power outage became a song about both living and dying at the same time.
A playful anthem about the search for a great song. Your imagination is your responsibility.
A raw Americana anthem about breaking the cycles of the past and finding the courage to chase the unknown.
A folk-rock interpretation of the “Train Station Theory.”
A humorous story about a man who escapes into his imagination, becoming a "time traveler" to cope with some of life's everyday pressures. P.S. If my wife asks, it's not autobiographical. ;)
A song about '90s memories, college friendships, and the bittersweetness of simpler days we can't get back but will always carry with us.
Hold my beer and have some fun with this song about famous last words.
A story about appreciation and the reflection of shared time with someone, and a letter that may never find its destination.
A reflective song about the balance between inspiration and obsession.
A message for my kids to remember their old man by, long after I'm gone.
During a time when there seemed to be multiple songs about vampires getting airplay, one of them was by Olivia Rodrigo. I joked with my daughter that Rodrigo should have said, "you may not be a vampire, but you still suck." Since she didn't, I did.
A birthday song for my baby girl.
Life doesn't come with instructions; we all just need to figure it out.
I wrote this for my son for his 18th birthday. A lot of my music is just me leaving messages and sharing stories for my kids to remember me by. A musical journal. A video time capsule of their old man. An old man who simply hopes he raised two amazing people who will pass grace and goodness along to their kids. For now, this song is for my son on this milestone birthday.
A favorite saying from my father, put to song with an amusing story.
Not meant to be taken too seriously, just a series of rolling thoughts in this monkey brain of mine.
Good times and bad times and all of those sad times.
A song about dealing with obstacles and learning how to turn them into superpowers.
A song for my beautiful wife.
A song about some of the physical changes that men of a certain age face. No complaints, just a humorous but real take on life's journey.
Staring down 50, I wrote and recorded this song. Little did I know how prescient it would be, but I guess that’s the point. None of us is guaranteed tomorrow, so enjoy what you have for as long as you can.
The idea for this song came from my love of Dean Dillon/George Strait's song "The Chair" and how it takes you in one direction the whole time and then completely flips it right at the end—not unlike an M. Night Shyamalan movie. So, this is "The Chair" meets "The Sixth Sense."
Had the idea for this title, and after a few months of batting around different directions, this is where I ended up. I hope you like it as much as I do.
When upset or protective of someone, a dear friend of mine would often talk about punching a rhino in the face to illustrate how strongly she felt about the matter. And once you hear a line like that, you don't forget it.
Had a long trek back from Arizona the other day. As my body and mind started to recover, this song came through.
