Inspired by Jim Croce, John Prine, Steve Goodman, Waylon Jennings, Kris Kristofferson, the Avett Brothers, and, of course, Jimmy Buffett, whose A-sides were fun but whose B-sides hooked me for life.  

I have always been drawn to raw acoustic sounds and songs that tell stories or evoke emotion. I love this kind of music, and I aspire to create it.   

I don't claim to be a great singer or musician, but perfection is often the enemy of progress.  I just write what inspires me and share as others have shared, for inspiration or amusement, and to leave something behind for my family and friends to remember me by.
